On Saturday, 19 October 2024, Tinktinkie Kleuterskool in Somerset West opened its doors for a fun-filled and heartwarming Open Day event. From 8:00 to 13:00, our school at 8 Dummerstraat was buzzing with energy, excitement, and lots of little giggles as we welcomed potential new families into our Tinktinkie family.
To make our visitors feel extra special, we prepared thoughtful welcome gifts for each child who arrived. It was such a joy to see their faces light up as they received their little surprises — a small token of the love and care we put into everything we do.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for parents to meet our warm and dedicated team of teachers. We believe that connection is everything, and it was lovely to see so many meaningful conversations as parents got a feel for our nurturing and playful learning environment.
While the grown-ups chatted, the kids got to enjoy a morning filled with fun and games. From creative activities to outdoor play, there was no shortage of laughter and new friendships forming. Our Open Day was designed not just to showcase our preschool, but to give families a real taste of the joyful, hands-on learning experience we offer every day.
We’re thrilled to share that four new little learners were enrolled on the day, and we look forward to seeing them thrive and grow as part of the Tinktinkie community.
To make things even more exciting, we also offered a special 50% discount on registration fees for parents who enrolled by the end of November 2024 — a thank-you for choosing us and a gentle way to ease the transition into the 2024–2025 academic year.
